RAAF 90 Year Magazine

We celebrate the RAAF’s 90th birthday, with a historical reference to its past, present and future, and a tribute to all those who have served in “the world’s best small air force” over the last nine decades. In telling the RAAF’s story we have attempted to cover its history in relatively ‘potted’ form, its evolution from Australian Flying Corps to Australian Air Corps and finally Royal Australian Air Force in 1921. A comprehensive overview of the planes and people that have shaped our RAAF in the last 90 years., including the Hawker Demon, Douglas Boston, Douglas Dakota, Gloster Meteor, Lockheed Nepture, F-111 and Caribou.
